ABOUT US

Rottenrow Hockey Club is a thriving community-based club located in the heart of Glasgow.

Founded in 2009 by university gratuates we pride ourselves on allowing all standards of hockey to be catered for, our club’s social scene, with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere as well as the cheapest fees to be found anywhere in Glasgow and the West.

Our club currently has two men’s outdoor teams and one indoor team. We also have a great relationship with Bluesox Hockey Club and regularly host socials and mixed hockey tournaments with them.

At Rottenrow Hockey Club, we uphold the following core values:

Social – We encourage socialising inside and outside of the club’s teams, as Members, Officials and Coaches.
Fun – We want Members to have fun at all costs, not just focus on winning.
Equal opportunities – we ensure every player is given the opportunity to enjoy hockey at any standard.
Member-run – We are a club managed and run by active volunteer members of the club; Committee, Coaches, Umpires…
Performance – We want Members to play to the best of their ability including performing at a high level if they wish.

Training

Training is at Glasgow National Hockey Centre on a Wednesday 8pm-9:30
